Map Sketch

Announcing a cool new feature for Maps101 users!

Now you can take any of our thousands of Maps101 maps and customize them with shapes, icons, text, shading and even freehand drawing.
  • Create your own maps tailored to your lessons
  • Reinforce and assess learning in a fun, interactive tool
  • Use as a teaching aide or for class projects
  • Save and share your finished map images

With Map Sketch, you start with one of many thousands of Maps (you will see the map-draw pencil icon underneath the map). Add text, icons, shapes, arrows and lines in a range of colors to your map.

When you are finished either print your map or save it — you can email it or download it as an image file for use in presentations or other documents.

Map Sketch is compatible with a range of devices including the iPad and other tablet devices.

Simply login to Maps101 to create your Map Sketch map. You can find the Map Sketch 'pencil' at the foot of the maps in Map Collections.
